HISTORY

PEC was founded in 1979 by Philippe and Patrick Geanty,
two brothers with a shared passion for gardens and landscaping.

They passed this passion on to their children, Alexandre and Victor,
who took over the direction of the company in 2010.

For over 30 years, PEC has strived to provide services of the highest possible quality,
developing expertise in our field and gaining the trust of countless clients.

LOCATION

PEC is based in the village of Pernes les Fontaines,
in the Vaucluse region, with additional offices in Avignon.

As our reputation has grown, we have attracted clients from further afield; we now cover the whole of the south of France (the PACA, Rhône Alpes, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrénées and Aquitaine regions).

We aim to establish durable partnerships with our clients, based on a shared passion for gardens and landscaping.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

With over thirty years of experience, we possess a unique set of skills and abilities, and a passion which is shared by all of our garden professionals. We combine traditional skills and innovative practices in order to satisfy all of your landscaping needs, no matter how complex.

At PEC, we are committed to upholding certain values in all we do:

  • We listen closely to our clients in order to identify durable solutions, provide professional advice and create a landscape which responds fully to the clients’ desires, whilst respecting the natural rhythms and cycles of the local environment (considering the terrain, the climate, and the most appropriate planting choices).
  • We aim to be prompt and efficient in communicating with our clients; in an increasingly competitive market, availability is crucial. We have high-performance tools in place to enable maximum organisational efficiency; this is particularly important when carrying out complex projects.
  • We pride ourselves in keeping our word and showing full commitment to our engagements (delivery dates, quality and budgetary considerations).
  • As a smaller company, we provide a highly personal level of service, and are dedicated to creating and maintaining team spirit among our personnel.
  • Our multi-generational staff comes from a wide variety of backgrounds, with a variety of skills and aptitudes.

As a landscaping company, we are highly aware of our responsibilities toward the natural world and with respect to the living materials which we use.

At PEC, we provide our clients with professional advice and expertise regarding their landscaping projects, from design to execution.

Our approach focuses on respecting the natural setting of the project, for example by identifying, cataloguing and reintroducing native plants. Our expert knowledge of Mediterranean flora enables us to create landscapes which reflect the natural beauty of the south of France.

This approach, an important aspect of our environmentally-responsible policy, is designed to respect established ecosystems and to make best use of natural resources.

From the outset, PEC has been committed to:

  • Saving water, by selecting plants which cope well with the dry and windy conditions encountered in our region.
  • Limiting, and where possible avoiding, the use of chemical fertilisers, through the selection of natural or forgotten methods, respecting the seasons and the diversity of the local environment, elements which contribute to the preservation of a natural landscape.

These approaches are based purely on common sense and a return to simple, traditional methods and values, adapted to modern society and to our clients’ wishes.
